Prospects in Poland - in search of new development opportunities

On 4 March 2010 representatives of the Marshal’s Office of the Łódź Voivodship, The Ministry of Economy, Łódź City Council and investors based in Łódź met in the Andel’s Hotel in the city to discuss Łódź’s and Poland’s economic potential.

“Even though Poland’s position is very strong compared with other countries, we have to make foreign investors aware of the potential and opportunities the country has to offer," says Włodzimierz Fisiak, the Marshal the Łódź Voivodship. “Without comprehensive and consistent economic promotion or the appropriate solutions at the government level this won’t be possible," he adds.

Each seminar will be followed by a business mixer, giving seminar participants a chance to make new contacts and share ideas in an informal atmosphere. At the end of the entire seminar series the organizers, together with the project partners, are planning to publish a Prospects in Poland report based on the seminars and including an outlook on the development of the Polish economy in the coming years.
